In the centuries leading up to Europe's heyday, it hanged 1% of each generation

Practically every crime beyond the most petty minor offenses were capital crimes, and that was rigorously enforced. Horse thieves, robbers, murderers, and the like faced not "probation" given to them by a pro-crime judge, but the gallows and gibbet. And they faced it for centuries, from roughly the High Middle Ages to the Georgian period (the Victorians were soft on crime compared to their ancestors)

Resultantly, serious crime mostly faded away. There are always pickpockets and serial killers, to some extent at least, but things like armed robbery can be mostly solved with consistent enough application of the gallows, as it plucks the crime genes out of the population

Because it was freed from the burden of rampant crime, Western civilization could focus on doing great and noble things instead of endlessly subsidizing a criminal underclass

We, on the other hand, have devoted every resource imaginable to subsidizing that criminal underclass that commits all the crime

2 years and 8 months ago I started a trading experiment.

I copied Nancy Pelosi’s trade with $38,000.

At the time she invested over $1.5m into Nvidia call options. Each call was $38k, she bought 50 of them. I bought one.

Within 3 months we both almost tripled our money. My $38k turned into $108k . Her $1.5m turned into $4.5m

Whether this should be legal or not I’m not sure but this method worked so I kept going.

Every time Pelosi disclosed a new trade I added more cash and copied the trade. At a certain point I got so confident she knows what she’s doing that I started doubling down on dips and buying even higher risk higher reward call options.

It worked. At a certain point she was down nearly 40% on her google calls. I bought more and instead of deep ITM calls I decided to take some OTM calls.

Within a few months that trade turned into nearly $500k in profit.

This portfolio that started as a joke, accidentally turned into the most profitable investing experience I’ve ever had.

She’s retiring her soon, I’m now tracking every single member of congress to help me come up with trade ideas.

My goal is to take this joke/portfolio to $2m by the end of the year.

What was Fauci’s motive for misleading the world? That is clear as a bell: he had spent decades championing the idea that gain-of-function research on risky viruses was a good idea, even as others expressed serious doubts.

Specifically, Fauci’s NIAID funded the work on coronaviruses, first at the University of North Carolina, and then in Wuhan.

Fauci himself knew this by 23 January 2020, when an email was sent with the following subject: ‘Urgent for Dr Fauci: China’s lab for studying SARS and Ebola is in Wuhan, the outbreak’s centre’, which discussed the grant NIAID had given the intermediary body, EcoHealth Alliance, to fund the work in Wuhan.

So Fauci knew from then onwards that if a lab leak looked plausible, his own role in godfathering the research would come out.

He had to keep a lid on it for a few weeks until the outbreak petered out.

Only it did not peter out.
