@voitechnology Day five: a single bike is available at the back of Dynamic Earth. Every now and then one flickers briefly up in Bristo Square but disappears quickly each time; perhaps there's a queue of people each waiting for a go.
Three large "Highway Maintenance" vans parked on the footway on Seafield Road East just before the King's Road/Harry Lauder junction. Beware of pedestrians being forced into the left-hand lane of the road. @edinhelp@edintravel
The @scottishwater works at the bottom of Seafield Street appears to be finished (cones on roadway gone, hole filled) but the contractors haven't cleared away the wide signs on the narrow south footway of Seafield Road - please could they be removed? @edinhelp
@scottishwater There's a drain/sewer leak on Salamander St, on the south footway, beside the Ninja Warrior/Carpet and Flooring Warehouse (being demolished), opposite Dreams/Farmfoods. Water and possibly waste is emerging from a cover. https://t.co/ciRiiWL2uz
@edinhelp Good evening. I'm not sure where to report this poster for https://t.co/XF0OrWeqMY, which is currently impeding the shared-use footway on Seafield Road East opposite Fillyside Road, near the slope down to the prom. It's attached to a temporary fence panel.
There'll also hopefully be an additional closure/diversion sign at the corner of Seafield Place, to prevent people turning up Pirniefield Bank (leading to a dead end) or trying to turn around on a road lined on both sides with parked vehicles?
@scottishwater Please could signs relating to carriageway works not be placed on the footway (on a slope, around a corner)? Pirniefield Place, Leith, ref: SW100-NRSWA-11630/LWS-IW(3802925 "Damaged Scottish Water manhole cover on carriageway").
@on_lothianbuses@edintravel East Hermitage Place blocked by a fallen bough. Doesn't look like there's any traffic management in place yet. One bus each way has since turned round and escaped.
@trafficscotland There's an item between the two lanes of the westbound M8 somewhere between the Almond and Union Canal - looks like a bit of wood wrapped in a sheet.
