Thank you for daddy
Thank you for my brother
Thank you for my baby sister
Thank you for aunty Tola
Thank you for Uncle Niyi
Thank you for aunty Doyin
Thank you for uncle Martin
Thank you for Grandma
Thank you for grandpa
Thank you for… for…
Thank you for EVERYBODY!
Thank you for Adeola
Thank you for my friend, Jaden
Thank you for my friend, Toye
Thank you for my friend, Ire
Thank you for Mrs Funsho
Thank you for Mrs Franca
Thank you for…
Thank you for… forrrr…”
Mum: …in Jesus name we pray?
Toddler: in Jesus name we Pray
It is okay to question circumstances leading to his death but not in this manner. Educated people run autopsy before the funeral, not the other way round. You should have held off the funeral until you got your answers!
That you weren’t told about his wedding doesn’t mean his marriage is invalid. You only need witnesses at a civil wedding, not mandatorily relatives. If your brother didn’t trust you guys to know what he was up to in his dying moment, then you people need inward reflection as a family. If he trusted you, he would have informed you. Let the man rest in peace.
One of my favorite things about myself is that I can take a hint. You don’t have to say much. I’ll notice whatever you’re implying and move accordingly. Save us both the embarrassment.
Maybe it’s just me, but I think “I love you” is too weighty to be said casually. I can really value and appreciate you as a person and still not use those words. So when people I barely have that depth with say it freely, it throws me off a little.
