it’s provincial election time! that wonderful time when parties compete for our votes by articulating their best ideas and vision for better future

Manitoba PCs: “we will definitely make sure two Indigenous murder victims remain in the dump”

I didn't know how badly I needed this until I watched it.

@WPGMurat One of the main reasons people don’t support others in grief is they “don’t know what to say.” Your story illustrates how it’s not the words but the intention that matters most. Thanks for posting.

I knew this thread would be heartwarming but I had no idea just how much

I know a lot of you wanted a technical breakdown of this meme so here it is!

I don't think you will find this level of detail anywhere else so keep reading if you don't want to miss out.

[David Kolton @WinnipegHeadDoc]

@waitbutwhy Take. Your. Time.

Thanks @ArizonaCoyotes for shining a light on how @1616lf is impacting youth hockey

[Garret Hohl @GarretHohl]

I typically stay in my lane in what I know and let people experts in their areas speak for me in stuff like this, but since I've seen dumb-dumb here, and others like J.Peterson, try to appeal to "biology" to strengthen their case, I will say something as it is in my area.

[David Kolton @WinnipegHeadDoc]

@WPGMurat No team is going to quit fighting, which is why it needs to be eliminated by a change of rules. Many other pro sports have “togetherness” and are entertaining for the fans. Hockey is the rare exception that allows fighting. The arguments against it are overwhelming.

What an honour and a privilege. I am always down to cut work... but first we have a few justice-related policies to implement! 1/8

[Scott Newman @ScottNewmanWpg]

That's quite a lot for one day. Let's leave work, grab some groceries at Deluca's, a fresh loaf of bread, a nice bottle of red wine, and I'll make a lasagna that will know your socks off!

@MCSeto Do you think we are at the point of validly using STABLE-2007 in CSEM only offender risk assessments?

[Scott Billeck @ScottBilleck]

How did this even get out of the minister’s office?

This might as well just say, “Screw those people struggling with addiction.”

⁦@WPGMurat⁩ does a great job outlining the emerging relationship between ⁦@TobaCentre⁩ and ⁦@ALowsyPlayer17⁩. Class acts all around. https://t.co/jOYBhbPy9y

[Protect Children @CdnChildProtect]

We commemorated @Twitter’s 15th birthday in 2021 with an important plea.

Knowing that child sexual abuse material was allowed to live on their platform, we called on them to make it easier to report CSAM, and prioritize its removal.

We're still waiting for them to grow up.
