@nlpnoah I think the frustrating this, if that *is* what you're interested in, is that there aren't any good agreed-upon keywords to indicate "I'm doing LINGUSTICS with COMPUTATIONAL METHODS"

@nlpnoah Fair enough. But NLP, wielded carefully, is a powerful tool for generating and testing hypotheses about language. That's not what most ACL papers are interested in... but it's just a name not a definite description so that's fine I guess.
