❗️We ask again -- why is the government not releasing spy flight footage it has for the day UK aid workers were killed by Israel?
This government statement is just performative.
@HFalconerMP should be pressed to release the footage.

The same story on moves to control second homes and holiday lets framed completely differently by the BBC in Welsh and English this morning.
The Welsh - leads with the aims of the policy
The English - leads with the concerns of opponents
Awesome how we waited until pretty much the eve of the election to notice the big bungs, the absurd corruption, the corporate donors, the cheek by jowl policy development and the millionaire candidates, isn’t it. I guess it means everyone can say they did their duty, sort of.
“Labour headquarters had been angry with the traction Owusu-Nepaul was getting. “At one point [Jovan] was getting more retweets than Keir Starmer. The officials were furious with him and said he was distracting [from] Starmer’s campaign.” https://t.co/uHcgr9Sdal
The SNP was denied a vote in Westminster last week.
We were told this was wrong and to apply for a debate.
We did.
That debate was to focus on Gaza; to end arms sales to Israel & ensure the UK votes for an immediate ceasefire at the UN.
That vote has now been blocked.
'A lot of people need to renovate their homes but not a lot get a 45% pay increase to do so.'
Political economist @RichardJMurphy explains why King Charles is getting more money - putting it into context he tells @BenKentish 'this stinks'.
Lucy Powell said today that the next Labour govt can't scrap the Tories two child benefit cap to alleviate child poverty because theres no money left.
What do you think of that, 2021 Keir?
Excellent article. With advisor to the Chancellor Karen Ward of JP Morgan saying a recession has to be engineered & Andrew Bailey saying we just have to accept poorer wages, the ruling class has never been so open and transparent. Take the necessary lessons from that fact.
Bannau Brycheiniog or the Brecon Beacons? ⛰️
In light of the decision by the @BannauB to only use its original Welsh name, the recent debate continues.
For our non-Welsh speaking friends, @tudur looks at the rich history of the Welsh name 🏴
We learned a lot about the policy of the government and the Bank of England when it came to inflation yesterday. Above all, we learned that they really want to frighten people into accepting lower standards of living. Economic warfare on the country has begun. A thread….
Might it have been better now, if we’d listened at least a bit to all those student protesters who got this spot on back in 2011, rather than screaming abuse at them then having them all forcibly kettled by the police force full of sex offenders.
Replies are full of people pointing out that houses are now astronomically expensive, and most quite politely. But really you’d be as well shouting into a bucket because she is fine and so is everyone she knows, so she doesn’t give a fuck.
Parch atoch eich dwy ond dw i'n anghytuno. Dydi'r Saesneg ddim angen freedom fighters i frwydro i wreiddio'r Saesneg yn yr @eisteddfod . Mae'r Gymraeg eisoes wedi ei gwasgu a'i chyfyngu i un wsnos allan o 52.
I really would like to hear more from Marr about what he means about the SNP being “purged by law”; what form the “pushback by the police” is taking and whether he feels it’s appropriate for “the system pushing back” in this manner.
