I'm getting better.
I've hated myself for the longest time. To the point I self sabotage everything good that comes my way. I've been callous, a genuine jerk sometimes. Running away or panicking at the absolute worst times and hurting the people closest to me when that happens
@MoniqueMonsters Oh I adore that text. The idea of seeing it every morning when heading downstairs and its meaning shifting over time would be disquieting. Hell, changing what it says as a random event you could miss would be interesting.
Just like before, I know this is dumb. I know it's a shitty loophole so I can speak to you without speaking. I realized that if I did grow, if I did learn anything at all from what happened, then messaging you would mean the opposite was true.
I do agree Haunting Ground have it moments which are too much (like the scene were Lorenzo "examine you" or the costumes) but i geniully feel the game does try to tell a story of "womanhood horror". Cleary showing how truly disturbing is being see only as a "baby making machine".
I'm not back. Really this is a spur of the moment kind of post. It's nice checking in every once in awhile, even if Twitter's a dumpster fire right now.
I miss this place, and I miss the people I knew. I just want you all to know I'm trying my best. I'll be okay
See you all!

I know the friends I've lost will likely never see these posts, but in the off chance they do:
I'm sorry. That doesn't cut it, I know, but I've tried to follow through on that remorse to make sure I never take others for granted again. To be who I believed I was and want to be.
@Hypnocrite 100% agree, Tomm. It was stellar. It can exist beside the original and stand proud. It felt like going through a love letter to the original game, extrapolating details from scenes and themes of the original.
its still funny to me tht like as a kid i wanted characters in media with my heterochromia type repped. i still like anime depictions of it but usually it’s insanely unrealistic. but then, one school night, 4am, ws a golden light showing me the 1st one to match me ever..

It's a story oriented and text heavy game with a linear structure, featuring light horror elements.
@hveansnight Replaying it again recently made me really appreciate the small moments like this in the Hotel. He's finally expressive about his love for Mary, what she meant to him, where before he was almost universally direct and neutral about even reaching into a toilet. His façade breaks
