今回の記事を書いていて、改めて興味深いと感じたのがSBI Holdingsの動き。
我が家は子供2人ともSBIの株主ということもあり🙂

EDX Marketsは、機関投資家向けの暗号資産市場インフラ。
単なる取引所ではなく、取引・清算・決済まで含めたTradFi品質のマーケットを構築しようとしている。
SBIもSeries Cをリードし、機関投資家向けデジタルアセット市場の拡大を後押ししている。

Gauntletは、DeFiプロトコルのリスク管理を担う企業。シミュレーションやリスク分析を通じて、MorphoやAaveなどのプロトコルが安全かつ効率的に資産を運用できるよう支える、「DeFiの裏方」とも言える存在。
派手なアプリではなく、金融システムを安定稼働させるためのインフラ。

Fassetは、新興国を中心にステーブルコインを活用した決済・送金・資産アクセスを提供するプラットフォーム。
ステーブルコインを実社会へ普及させるためのネットワーク構築を目指している。

とういことで、

と、それぞれオンチェーン金融を構成する異なるレイヤーに位置している。

ここでSBI自身の事業を見ると、さらに面白い。

だから今回の3件の投資も、VCとして有望企業へ投資したというだけではなく、SBIグループ全体の金融エコシステムを、オンチェーン時代へ拡張するためのピースを集めているようにも見える。

証券があり、銀行があり、資産運用があり、暗号資産交換所があり......その上で、
・機関投資家向け市場（EDX）
・DeFiリスク管理（Gauntlet）
・ステーブルコイン決済（Fasset）
へ投資している。

Robinhoodが株式・暗号資産・ウォレット・決済を一つの金融エコシステムとして広げてきたように、SBIも「オンチェーン金融」という次の時代を見据えて布石を打っている可能性は十分あると感じる。

今回、2026年の資金調達を整理してみて感じたのは、VCだけでなくSBIの投資先にも共通して、「ステーブルコイン × DeFi × RWA × 金融インフラ」という一本の軸が見えてきたこと。

だから私は、この領域を数年単位で注目している。

안랩블록체인컴퍼니(ABC)가 참여하고 있는 원화 스테이블코인 기술 얼라이언스 'K-STAR'가 BNK부산은행과 함께 블록체인 기반 디지털 지역화폐 결제·정산 인프라 개념 검증(PoC)을 성공적으로 마쳤습니다.

이번 프로젝트는 사용처와 유효기간 등 정책 조건이 내장된 '정책형 지역화폐'의 발행부터 유통, 결제, 정산까지 전 과정을 통합 구현하고, 실제 금융 환경에서의 운영 가능성을 검증하기 위해 추진되었습니다.

K-STAR 얼라이언스에는 안랩블록체인컴퍼니(ABC)를 비롯해 오픈에셋(@open_asset_inc ), 카이아(@KaiaChain ), 람다256(@Lambda256) 참여했으며, 각 사가 발행·월렛·인프라·오케스트레이션 등 전문 영역을 분담해 상호 연동성을 검증했습니다. 특히 BNK부산은행의 결제 운영 데이터를 기반으로 한 부하 테스트에서 트랜잭션 성공률 100%, 1초 이내 처리 성능을 기록하며 안정성을 입증했습니다.

이번 PoC를 통해 지역화폐 디지털 전환은 물론, 스테이블코인·디지털자산·국경 간 결제·정산 등 차세대 금융 인프라로의 확장 기반을 마련했습니다.

[K-STAR Alliance Completes PoC with BNK Busan Bank for Blockchain-Based Digital Local Currency]

AhnLab Blockchain Company (ABC), a member of the KRW stablecoin technology alliance 'K-STAR,' has successfully completed a proof of concept (PoC) with BNK Busan Bank for a blockchain-based payment and settlement infrastructure for digital local currency.

The project aimed to implement the entire process—issuance, distribution, payment, and settlement—of a "policy-based local currency" embedded with policy conditions such as merchant restrictions and expiration dates, and to verify its operational feasibility in a real financial environment.

The K-STAR Alliance includes AhnLab Blockchain Company (ABC), along with OpenAsset (@open_asset_inc), Kaia (@KaiaChain), and Lambda256 (@Lambda256), with each company contributing its expertise across issuance, wallet, infrastructure, and orchestration to verify interoperability. Notably, load testing based on BNK Busan Bank's actual payment operation data recorded a 100% transaction success rate with sub-1-second processing, demonstrating the system's stability.

Through this PoC, the alliance has laid the groundwork to expand beyond the digital transformation of local currencies into next-generation financial infrastructure, including stablecoins, digital assets, and cross-border payment and settlement.
