i was paying $3.99 a month for @paste_app. literally $4 a month just to have a copy/paste clipboard on macos.

didnt sit right with me, so i broke out claude code and built my own clipboard manager called "freepaste".

about an hour worth of time to save $3.99 a month. i'd consider that time well spent.
