Good interview. I agree with much of what Tata says. However, until we have a striker who can score goals, we will stay near the playoff line. It feels like Tata thinks that ELL can be that player. If he didn't, ELL would be gone. Uncle Arthur has said that money is not the issue, that he will pay whatever it takes.
Physics works on multiple scales. The Stefan-Boltzmann law describes blackbody radiation, but my point is about plant physiology: elevated CO₂ allows plants to partially close stomata, reducing transpiration (water loss) while boosting photosynthesis and biomass. This is well-documented in FACE experiments and satellite data showing global greening. More plant mass shades soil, helping retain moisture. On the water cycle side, warmer temperatures increase ocean evaporation (Earth is ~71-75% water), which can enhance overall precipitation and reduce net drought in many regions—though patterns vary. CO₂ does accumulate because emissions exceed natural sinks short-term, but plants and oceans absorb a large share.
I'm less focused on the asset's appreciation and more on the interplay between interest rates and inflation—specifically, the opportunity to repay the loan with devalued (inflated) dollars over time. Meanwhile, the real estate itself should hold its nominal value, while the initial loan principal has been invested in Bitcoin.
@foundmyfitness The only diet the tested was the Mediterranean diet. I hypothesize that other healthy diets would have the same results. If the were really testing their hypothesis, the should have tested ketogenic diets and other healthy diets.
@markchristenson@glukianoff@MaudMaron I agree that it is not a legal right. If it is a legal right, it can be taken away by law. It is a God given right which we are born with. The US Constitution prohibits the government from interfering with our expression of that right.
@dantawfik Do you think it has more to do with the 100 g in one batch, increasing amino acid concentration in the blood. Or will 100 g of protein broken into several doses have the same effect?
The problem is people want to be coddled. Temperature between 68 and 72, luxury seating, no bumps, not too much sun, no rain, etc. We were meant to live in our environment, to have hormetic stress and gain strength and resilience. I view my Jeep as a safe motorcycle. It's not meant to be air-conditioned or comfortable. It allows me to enjoy the outdoors while I am driving.
This is Anton Kreil.
A kid from Liverpool, raised by a single mom with no money, who walked into Goldman Sachs at 20 and walked out of Wall Street at 28 with the kind of resume nobody believes is real.
His prop book at Goldman grew from $25M to over $400M in four years.
Lehman headhunted him in 2004.
JP Morgan paid him a fortune to run their global pharma, biotech, and chemicals trading franchises in 2006.
He retired in May 2007, months before the entire system blew up.
The 16 minutes below is the closest thing I've seen to an actual trader explaining how he thinks.
No fluff, no charts, just the framework that made three of the biggest banks on Wall Street fight to hire him.
@JSeyff@DustinRizzo@nic_carter Ben Johnson set the record at 9.79 seconds 40 years ago, with PEDs. You have to be fast to begin with. Drugs may add a couple of tenths. It seems like we have good drugs for endurance, like EPO and good drugs for strength, like steroids. We must not have good drugs for speed.
