OUTRAGEOUS
The Carney Govt BACKDATED the "spaceport" lease FUNNELLING $20M tax dollars to the nearly-bankrupt Maritime Launch Services for NO WORK.
After this BAILOUT the Board Chair IMMEDIATELY SOLD his previously worthless shares POCKETING $1.8 MILLION.
TOTAL CORRUPTION.
.@FinanceCanada budget figures untrue, Budget Office data show with indications @FP_Champagne misled Canadians on size of near-record 2025 deficit: "What credibility do you think you have?"

🇨🇦 Timeline of the CRTC
streaming tax reversal:
📍 CRTC triples levy to 15% of revenues — not profits
📍 US Ambassador calls it
“discriminatory trade barriers”
📍 US Congressman files legislation against it
📍 Liberals say they “can’t intervene” 🤷
📍 Conservatives apply pressure
📍 Liberals suddenly order a review
So they CAN intervene.
They just needed to be forced to. 🇨🇦

Thanks to Hansard (and ParlVu), we have access to the flip-flop receipts (from May 28 - less than a week ago).
I think today's announcement by @MarcMillerVM gives the win to @RachaelThomasAB for the win over @Kevin_Lamoureux and @mylesdavid

💥 BOOM: @Sauve_Brian, representing 20,000 federal RCMP officers, DROPS A BOMB 💣 on the Liberals gun grab, telling @PatKelly_MP going after licensed gun owners:

Walsh "Do you think Canadians blame Mark Carney, or do you think they blame Mr. Trump for that recession?"
Poilievre "You mean the fact that we're the only country in the G7 that's in a recession?"
Walsh "It seems like Canadians are laying the blame for their economic troubles with Mr. Trump"
Poilievre "Maybe you are protecting Mr. Carney from his economic record. But here's the reality. Mr. Trump's policies are affecting all G7 countries, and none of them are in recession."
"...So it seems that the other countries, despite Mr. Trump's unfair tariffs, have been able to craft policies to avoid recession." @PierrePoilievre
This isn't rage baiting, it's all in government documents.
It will however induce rage if you read this.
And remember, during this whole time, Canada has had high unemployment overall, but dreadfully high youth unemployment.
🔥 Canadian grandma just read The Globe and Mail’s latest and absolutely unloaded.
Article says: “As Canada faces crippling debt, it must do the unpopular thing and cut elderly benefits.”
Her response?
“These are the ones who paid the taxes in this country for how many years… the ones who have defended this country through our military.”
Instead of cutting seniors, how about stopping the immigration spending, the money we ship overseas, and the “lavish meals our prime minister spends upon himself”?
“I am so fucking sick of this country… get rid of this fucking tyranny.”
Seniors built Canada. They paid in. Now they want to cut their benefits while everything else balloons?
What do you think — fair or outrageous?

Under PM Harper...
Q1 2015: -0.8% annualized GDP
Q2 2015: -0.5% annualized GDP
Bank of Canada: "Yes, Canada meets the technical definition of a recession."
Under PM Carney...
Q4 2025: -1.0% annualized GDP
Q1 2026: -0.1% annualized GDP
Bank of Canada: "Two negative quarters of GDP alone should not be used to define the state of the economy."
My Globe op-ed on Canada's digital self-sabotage ahead of AI strategy release, which has tech sector alarmed and thinking of an exit. No chance at leadership when policies threaten security, make Internet services uneconomic, and raise AI adoption barriers

This is from somewhere in the United States where I have encountered only courteous and helpful Anericans.
This includes crossing the border while I am undergoing radioactive cancer treatment.
Each Customs and Border Protection agent was genuinely helpful and did everything reasonable to facilitate my swift entry into the U.S.
I'm calling BS on Euro wanna-be Carney's anti-American rhetoric and action.
Americans are our neighbours and multi-generational allies. That counts far more than Mark Carney and his leftover crew of Trudeau ministers poisoning the well of Canada/U.S. friendship.
I remember about 20 years ago a cabinet minister resigned over an $18 glass of orange juice. Now Carney spends almost $100k on luxury airplane food on 1 trip, and it's hardly news. We didn't tolerate this before, but somewhere over the last 20 years the Canadian public has lost it's balls.
