Two suspects caught cutting trees and burning charcoal have been arrested on the first day of the UWA's takeover of the management of #BugomaForest.
UWA rangers also impounded a truck loaded with charcoal as authorities intensified enforcement operations.

Of recent, I have noticed a lot of orwaari (noise, kelele), regarding the Sovereignty Bill. Which Sovereignty Bill is the rwaari about? The one I initiated in the Cabinet or another one? The Bill will stop FDIs (Foreign Direct Investments), support for religious bodies from abroad, Remittances from Ugandans working abroad, etc., etc. Really!! That is not the Bill I initiated.

A woman in Kasinyi village in Buliisa district is seen fetching dirty water from a dugout hole. The residents here say they used to collect clean water for household chores but it's now smelly and dirty due to flash floods allegedly caused by industrial activities
