The main crime here is that the country does not have a dedicated screening programme for breast cancer. Also, the poor lady has been left to fund a serious medical illness out-of-pocket and to rely on the generosity of the public. It’s really a shame.

Pxs have the right to decline whatever treatment they do not want or their belief precludes them from having if they have mental capacity.
It can be frustrating for those supporting/treating the patient, but the best way forward is to explore acceptable treatment options.
