@AnnTelnaes When I was 11, John Churchill Chase published a collection of his cartoons in New Orleans, "Of Time and Chase."

He had Huey Long pegged from the start, in the 20s, long before Robert Penn Warren and the rest.

Chase's book was my textbook for 20th century history.
