Rescued from the brutal world of illegal dogfighting rings managed by cruel handlers (like Beauty Smith, played by James Remar), White Fang learns to shed his conditioning and trust humans again.
Can’t stand when people say “act mature” could’ve had a conversation about the differences we saw but yet when you voice how you feel you’re being told “I’m not reading all that” then they send a LONG reply expecting you to respect their feelings & read what they have to say???
Suicidal ideation often sounds like:
“I’m so tired.”
“I can’t do this anymore.”
“Everyone would be better off without me.”
It’s rarely about death.
It’s about escape.
From overwhelm.
From shame.
From feeling like a burden.
And what people actually need
is support not silence.
It’s exhausting dealing with someone that treat accountability like it’s disrespect, every time you express yourself, they instantly get defensive instead of listening. You leave the conversation confused, unheard, and emotionally tired. That ain’t communication, that’s manipulation with extra steps.
I feel like a burden or a Debby downer to a lot of people the last couple of years even though people see me for my light & I end up befriending or dating energy vampires where they drain all the light & life out of me to where I feel like I am the problem.
People who lack self-awareness are honestly scary. Some don't even realize they're haters, energy drainers, copycats, low-key watchers, or just moving out of insecurity. They really think their behavior is normal.
You should never be expected to be the bigger person when you didn't create the discomfort in the first place. Too many people cause the chaos, cross the line, then want you to swallow your feelings just to keep the peace.
Accountability matters. Being mature doesn't mean accepting disrespect or cleaning up messes you didn't make. Sometimes protecting your peace means standing firm and letting folks sit in the consequences of what they caused.
