New on @withcortex Chat: Analyze Cast! Enter a Farcaster cast hash or @warpcast_/@superonfc/Recaster cast link and Cortex will summarize the thread and its context
Announcing @withcortex Chat -- a Perplexity-style chatbot for @farcaster_xyz / onchain data! Ask it questions such as:
- Show me upcoming Farcaster events
- Which @clankeronbase tokens are trending?
- What's going on in the /frames-v2 channel?
Link & more info in the next tweet
Part of the reason I wanted to bring it up is that this framework excited me so much that I'm using it to build @withcortex, a community-focused @farcaster_xyz client(pivoted a bit after researching Notion-style blocks)
I know it's still in beta but I've really enjoyed using it!
Here’s an overview of the @withcortex Chrome extension I’ve been building on to display Farcaster ecosystem blocks, here’s what I have so far:
- all composer actions
- @icebreaker_xyz FC user profiles
- @unlonely_app streams
- @paragraph_xyz trending
Lmk what you’d want next!
Just posted a one pager for a new project I've spent all summer working on --@withcortex, Notion-style blocks for @farcaster_xyz ecosystem data
Read in the next post to learn more about why I'm excited about mini-apps and Farcaster data composability, and I'll be posting more!
@_buildspace@_nightsweekends Wanted to share a sneak peek of what @withcortex has been up to in advance of the program's start 👀
What if your browser had control over the commands you can take on each website? 🤔
Finally publishing my first video essay!
Giving my take on how I think the Internet will become a part of the operating system. Wanted to formalize a speech I'd been giving on many Zooms & share it broadly.

We’ve been building something…
What if you could visualize and better navigate the trails that you browse? That’s what we’re trying to do with Reader.
Sign up for the alpha: https://t.co/6cWQQN8FLp
I'm finally pulling the curtain down on a brand new @withcortex experiment!
Meet Reader -- a news reader that visualizes your browsing history. Build your own feed and browse content in trails instead of tabs and windows.

What if we had a canvas to explore the trails that we struggle to navigate when browsing Twitter?
I placed an old "Memex Drama" thread from @marcinignac on a new @withcortex interface I'm finishing up -- resulting in an experience that's a breeze for users to fly through

On the horizon for 2022:
- Launch of Cortex 0.1 and The Road to 1.0
- Building in public
- Community engagement(info coming soon 🤫)
Appreciate all of the support and can't wait to share more soon.
Happy New Year! 🥳
2021 was a year of learning for Cortex [1/3]:
Jan/Mar - Launched MVPs to make knowledge graphs more portable
Apr/Jun - Took a step back to research knowledge graph architecture
It helped tons to work with knowledge graphs outside of "note-taking" tools https://t.co/5GhQsjLHWg
This is a key issue of graph portability. I love Roam — it helps me explain my thoughts and learnings better to myself — but it takes a lot of effort to add new imports, export parts of my graph, work with others, etc. I love structured writing and backlinks, just not the UI.
[2/3]
Jul/Sept - Building out the UI/UX
Oct/Dec - Grinding out version 0.1
Cortex's goal has always been to make end-user programming effortless, and the launches planned are only the start of our mission:
