A message to those struggling with addiction of any type:
Your worth is not determined by your bad habit, but by your sincere attempt to overcome it.
It doesn't matter how many times you didn't succeed-your salvation is in trying again & again.
Don't lose hope in Allah's mercy.
Complex trauma survivors often learn to outwardly underreact to things we're feeling-- because the truth is, we're actually feeling EVERY goddamn thing at 1000% intensity.

Don't bite.
Focus on YOUR relationship w/ you first. Have your own back. Be on your own side.
Establishing boundaries is difficult for those with gentle souls who care deeply for others. A reminder, those boundaries are not meant for you to become a different person but to protect your gentleness & empathy. This is good for you & those who care for you. You’ve got this!
