Hey @Amtrak! This was seen on train 66 yesterday from Roanoke to Boston. A space set aside for passengers with disabilities was cluttered with storage boxes from the cafe. We need you to be better. #AccessibleTransit
MATT GAETZ pins shutdown on McCarthy: “We will have a government shutdown and it is absolutely Speaker McCarthy's fault. We cannot blame Joe Biden for not having moved our individual spending bills. We cannot blame House Democrats. We can't even blame Chuck Schumer in the Senate”
“It’s not my duty as mayor to make sure you have a parking spot. For me, it’s the same as if you bought a cow, or a refrigerator, and then asked me where you’re going to put them."

This is just another example of @MetroTransitPD sanctioned violence against victimless crimes. When will @wmata learn? We must do better. #NoJusticeNoPeace https://t.co/3dQti05dBx
Hey @ZachANC5A09! What’s up with the trailer at the corner of SD Ave and Riggs Rd in front of @foodandfriends? Is this finally some movement on using the space as a park or just more construction staging?
@theresejones0 @ZachANC5A09 I think the plants you’re referring to at the top of the picture are actually on price property, aren’t they? If so, I don’t think there’d be much traction in removing them.
While I love the community that I’ve connected with here on Twitter, the continual degradation of its accessibility is becoming a real deterrent. We must #SaveA11yBots!
Elon Musk's continually moving goalpost on charging for Twitter API access threatens the existence of accessibility bots such as those utilized by blind users. https://t.co/1qCtQ8ZbMV
We are in touch with National Park Service (NPS) and MPD 4th District about two metal canisters found in Fort Totten Park containing explosive devises. NPS and MPD are examining the containers, and neighbors are encouraged to stay away from the area.
A National Park Service employee found two metal canisters in a mound of soil in Fort Totten Park. Out of an abundance of caution and until more research can be completed, the park is closed just east of Fort Totten Drive, south of Gallatin Street, and north of Brookland Ave NE/Farragut St.
