I enjoy hearing my students chat during pair & share! It is a quick and effective way to assess their learning. My students are focused and engaged on the task. #GCU5203Furlong
@CindyJoyce_ This is my first time hearing this strategy be called “networking”. I love it. I especially like how it does promote students to advocate for themselves and realize when they need more assistance with something.
@MeredithDerkack The Traffic light strategy encourages students to reflect on their learning. It enables them to take accountability and ownership over their learning, too.
@ACocozzaTF I have used student surveys in the beginning of a new unit. I can easily see what my students already know about the topic, what they are interested in learning, and any questions they might have.
@MsKrystalR2 I am interested in learning more about micro progressions. The more self assessments tools I can use for my students, the less likely they will become disengaged.
@KimRego18 This is a wonderful self assessment strategy. I especially enjoy using it for my students who prefer to work independently. Those students can share their learnings privately. I will give feedback to my students by writing back to them in their journal.
@lindsaylaneve What a solid self assessment tool. It is helpful for students to reflect on their own learning. It let’s the students take ownership over their learning.
