In our pursuit of freedom, we often find ourselves embracing another form of slavery. In essence, we exchange one kind of slavery for another and seldom pausing to recognize the quiet continuity of our chains.

Having seen images of fog-like emissions blowing out of an attacked oil facility in Iran, I wonder whether @IPCC_CH and Integrated Assessment Models consider wartime emissions shocks in their projected SSP scenarios.
I believe it is resistance that ultimately helps you overcome — resistance against the thoughts that pull you down, discourage you, and convince you to give up. You don’t need extraordinary traits; the only extraordinary thing is the ability to resist the pressures around you.
I invested but as price dropped I poured more to get the average down, invested again to get the average down. But today I feel it was a bad investment I undertook. I showed excessive optimism in this asset while it was in its own way.
