You just get worse and worse. It's the only thing that was just hers, just for her & the four people, now all gone, that she was most intimate with. And you stole it from her for MONEY and ATTENTION. There is no redemption for you.
Justice Barrett is set to decide a case brought by the same right-wing special interest group that poured over a million dollars into a campaign to get her confirmed. She needs to recuse herself, under Supreme Court precedent.

@goldietaylor I thought, yeah, you're like me, you like your privacy, not comfortable with small talk. Like not wanting to talk to the person next to you on the plane. Then the lightbulb went on.
The most "advertised" GA voter suppression you've heard about is banning of water to people in line.
The one you should be paying attention to is if the GOP legislature doesn't LIKE the result of an election- they can SUSPEND COUNTY ELECTION OFFICIALS & CHANGE the results.
We're seeing this elsewhere: Republicans are raging at private businesses making choices about how to protect themselves from people who don't get vaccines.
As @davidfrum says, appeasement of "cultural blocs" requires GOP pols to "sacrifice everything":

It's easy to mock corporate "wokeness." But it actually has its place in helping facilitate political change.
And in this case, what's being exposed is the sheer hollowness of GOP screams about this kind of "liberal cultural power":

This is amazing. Georgia Republicans voted last night to cancel a Delta tax break, to punish Delta for criticizing their voter suppression bill.
A GOP leader admitted to this motive, saying:
"You don’t feed a dog that bites your hand."

Oh look, @GOP legislators using governmental power to punish free speech. If you are a Republican who supports this, don’t ever lecture anyone about free speech ever again.
Making it illegal to bring food and water to people standing in long lines that are only long because of policies you created to specifically and intentionally limit the electoral power of Black people is honestly more egregious and abhorrent than I have the words for.
During the War on Terror years, whenever there was a mass shooting ppl would wonder abt the ethnicity of the shooter.
Now that the shooters are often right wing white men who are having a bad day, ppl wonder about the ethnicity of the victims.
The last time the Voting Rights Act was reauthorized, George W. Bush was president and it passed the Senate 98-0. Now it can’t even get a vote.
We have our differences, but there should be 100 votes to make it easier for Americans to make their voices heard in our democracy.
