Riddle me this:
We are not ‘entitled’ to God because He created us.
Why then is it assumed we feel entitled to the obedience of our own children?
We instead have to raise them through hardships and be with them through trials and earn their respect through love, right?
The ring bearer at the wedding we just did goes, ‘I can’t read the tag, it’s in Spanish.’
The best man corrected him by saying, ‘That’s not Spanish, that’s cursive little man.’
I always thought this was a sleight against ‘curse words.’ But this whole chapter is about unity in Christ.
So then corrupt words, false accusations with no proof? Or is it more, don’t stir up the pot?
I think it’s the latter personally.
There is a constant battle between me and my children in reference to coloring.
We have fifteen thousand coloring books and sketch books. Why are we insistent on using random sheets of paper?!
I will end up fighting books over papers for the rest of their lives. Nbd.

Sex is the most intimate thing. It is the most sacred thing. It should not be abused or betrayed. It is not respected enough, instead it has been demoralized and made as common as a text message— for some, not all.
I agree. Sex is a good thing; when respected.
