@GMGrills That wasn’t really my question though. There’s a lot of pissed of people esp on Reddit it might be nice to you know, explain what’s going on?
@northerncrone@radleybalko It’s not inaccurate at all. GVPD had/has a racism problem. The politics are not complex all. They’re actually really simple. From an outside auditor:
@bwest@elchefe@LiebermanAustin@QuinnyPig So basically your point is that I should be able to ask SVB bankers about the best cloud architectures? Subject matter expertise isn’t a thing anymore?
@QuinnyPig This will only happen if people like Corey keep trying to will it into existence. SVB still has lots assets. Most customers will recover most of their deposits. Stop with the hyperventilation.
@m1matas @DusanBabich@film_girl@oiler_head So your saying is that OP has a financial interest, because they live in CA to not give people in other states more time off? Not very altruistic.
@film_girl@oiler_head There’s zero legal obligation most places in the US to pay out accrued PTO it’s almost universally up to the individual employer. I’ll take the unlimited versus accrued that has no value whatsoever.
@film_girl This is not totally accurate. Paying out PTO isn’t a thing companies HAVE to do universally. In fact I think this is only required in CA and CO. In most states there is no requirement unless it is defined in the employment agreement that the PTO has monetary value.
