The advice given to clinicians is to treat the patient, not the numbers. Is there a danger that with AI it's the other way round, AI treats the numbers, not the patient?

People can control behaviours and respond to clear, specific, concrete commands. They can’t effectively ‘stay alert’ nor ‘control the virus’.
