Anybody who says it doesn’t matter who the 30th, 31st or 34th best team in the @MarchMadness field is has never waited in that campus conference with their players and staff. Equally as devastating as it can be exhilarating.
Put this out before I realized @WVUhoops was not included in the field. For some reason, even with 4 of Top 12 @Big12Conference teams in NET, league was thought to be “down.” Even if was No.1 in @kenpomeroy nine of last 11 years. Obviously, I have no issues @SEC’s “outlier” year but ACC was historically horrendous. Human nature in that conference room prevailed.
In my wildest dreams, I never thought they would do this to @WVUhoops. But again, as smart as these people are, it always comes down to who’s in the room with you deciding. It has always been that way.
According to the committee, North Carolina was officially the last team in the field.
On the latest bracket matrix, featuring 111 bracketologists:
West Virginia was in all 111 brackets.
Indiana was in 90.
Texas was in 50.
Xavier was in 30.
North Carolina was in 27.
For what it’s worth.
Heartbroken for @WVUhoops. I can’t comprehend this team being left out. Our resume was better than several teams in the field and it’s a terrible travesty that we weren’t included. I have so much appreciation for @Coach_DeVries, our coaching staff and players. They deserved better than what the committee delivered today. Let’s rally around these young men and let them know how proud we are of them!

I have collected a program for every home Football game since 2009 and am only missing 1. With the Athletic Department deciding to no longer print programs I need to complete my collection!
The only program I am missing is 2010 Cincinnati
