@matthewherper I'm interested to see the impact of a larger UBI payment AND elimination of all other gov't support programs to understand if the pure efficiency of eliminating the other programs (and the gov't employees who administer them) could pay for the UBI.

@robperez32 Such a great idea! Unfortunately the two parties always cater to their 'bases.' But the base isn't ever going to support the other party; this election is going to be decided by the huge number of independents who don't like either party's extreme platform.

NEW: CNN's Jake Tapper hammers Democrats for not taking Biden's mental decline seriously, calls out Chris Coons to his face for shilling for Biden.

"There is a pattern of democratic officials seemingly trying to convince you to not believe what you saw and what you heard with your eyes."

Tapper later called out Coons to his face for not being honest with the American people.

"With all due respect, it is not honest to say that this is just one night. There have been moments like this that people have seen in front of the cameras and other moments without cameras."

Tapper then played a clip of Biden forgetting how to speak during a DACA speech at the White House.

@BasicIncomeOrg There should be more focus on how a BI plan is a more efficient way to provide assistance; allowing for the reduction/elimination of other programs (eg food stamps) and all the admin overhead managing all these gov’t assistance programs.
