@thespybrief Not alarming if you live here. Car jackings happen all over the district. They are fewer and happen more at night now but used to also happen in broad daylight. I live in Capitol Hill and they happen here.

@thespybrief It’s tragic but I’m not surprised. We used to live at 6th & M, one block from where this happened. Shootings in that area of 7th and M, N, and O Sts. are not uncommon. Shaw neighborhood still has a drug/crime issues which is why we moved out of that area.

@thespybrief Way too many helicopters fly low and fast up and down that river, IMO. In fact the amount of helicopter traffic in the District in general is insanely high. I suspect them flying up and down the river, especially at night, will be reexamined.
