I see a lot of people post "Why do people unfollow me?"
You know, maybe it's the Islamophobic, homophobic, trans-phobic, misogynist, racist, and/or other shit you posted or retweeted, dude.
@robsellers123 His shadow gives him away! It is 32C here in Kntucky this evening. Both of mine keep going between the cool concrete of the covered patio and the grass underneath the apple tree in the shade.
@elsathora Big cities have big fireworks and big crowds. Since it's the 250th, if you're wanting a massive experience, I'd go up north to Philly, Boston, Baltimore, or DC.
I'd find a lake in Tennessee or Kentucky, rent a boat at a state park, and enjoy their fireworks. I might be biased.
@FreddyLA7 LOVE that little town on the Mobile Bay! There's a great Chinese place there, too. We stayed in a little local, not fancy but had breakfast place called the Key West Inn on our road trip.
@terakyalenadena Trust is at the foundation of every relationship. Once you break it, it's hard, if not impossible, to get it back. Can't say I agree with a complete cold silence, but I also understand it. And I also bet there's more to the story.
Happy #WorldCup Day! I know our government is full of assholes, but so many Americans are so excited to welcome the world for the most amazing of sports tournaments. Remember us everyday people who are doing our best to spread the love of the game while FIFA have sought only $.
@AlternativeMUFC I am not going to lie: they monetize things over here any way they can, depending on the league: corner kicks and yellow cards are often "sponsored." They have an "assist of the match," even if there is no goal. We don't have those tables in Nashville, but omg the suites.
@dipsMUFC I am a mix of emotions... Excited. Angry. Disappointed. The last time it was here I was a teenager, and football was just taking off here, and I was so excited to go this year! And then they put prices so high that I just can't do it on principle. Many others can't afford it. ๐ญ
@itvfootball@sammatterface@LeeDixon2 Deep breath, guys. You realize this is just Florida weather, right? That we build the pitches with draining systems to handle this, right? It's RAIN, not a hurricane.
@thefootballpark@England Notice that Americans, esp. those of us who watch MLS East, be looking at this and knowing the pitch will drain quickly. Nashville looked like this before their tie with Tigres a couple of months ago, and it was fine. We build the pitches to work with this weather.
The World Cup begins tomorrow, and many will watch the matches. Soccer reminds us of something we must not forget: life is not a race to show off on our own, but a path we learn to walk together. Anyone who does not know how to pass the ball, even if they have talent, has not yet understood the game. Anyone who does not know how to live with and for others has not yet understood life. #ApostolicJourney
