A very happy St David's Day.
It's a little known fact that I happen to be a half-Welsh boy raised in South East England.
But when the daffodils are out I'm always aware of that ever-burning dragon's fire I carry with me.

Well, I'm not happy about this. Regina's never left South Shields, and I'm not sure I trust the British Museum to look after her. https://t.co/ehTPQtJLLc
If not for my post yesterday I may not have noticed this!
Like my ideal mental age, We Lack Discipline is 4 years old!
My sweary, informative, autistic info-dumping platform was the first step I took to changing my life.
Celebrating a decade of cartoon joy; Odysseys, Illiads, capricious divinities, explorations of stories, interpretations of myths and fowl Romans - @GreekMythComix turns 10!
I have broken my retirement to discuss my favourite comic.

'Overcoming' disability barriers is often seen as a personal rather than social responsibility; with other's achievements weaponised against the disabled community.
@floschechter Presumably they'll broaden their reach and try and find someone with experience working in emergency services...
Someone with experience as a firefighter, perhaps?
...probably not police, though...
When you spend nearly £100 of money you don't have, and have someone write off your car at a roundabout, just to feel the bitter sting of rejection.
Cheers, life. Just what I needed.
Raising money in aid of Parkinson's UK because my ever-suffering, never-complaining, hard-working mum has had her life turned upside down by it.
She doesn't think anyone cares.

A 🧵 on why I am fundraising for @ParkinsonsUK.
I don't go into my personal life a lot on here. I have always preferred to keep myself to myself.
But I have recently gone through the worst trouble I've had in years and, as is often the case, it relates to my family.
The impact of Parkinson's on those affected is profound.
This year I have spent more hours in hospitals, visiting and caring for my mother, than I have in museums.
That is why I am raising money for @ParkinsonsUK.

After decades of Roman enthusiasm, years of self-led, fruitless and totally not respected learning and scholarship, and miles of travel, I finally got to go to Hadrian's Wall and see the dicks!
I don't mean the phallus carvings, just all the other people who were visiting.
Surprised local 'philanthropist' Sir Roger didn't stump up the funds for this. Suppose they wouldn't let him stick a bedroom and kitchenette in each of the lifts and charge £2m for them.
