Kindergarten students in @JamiKupper class just finished reading "Mouse Paint" by Ellen Stoll Walsh. Then they mixed colors to paint primary/secondary color wheels. #wlcardpride

Please don't remove students from physical education, music, Arts, or other classes to remediate them in other areas. The immediate and long term damage they are doing to these students can be significant. And at the very least, make them feel more defeated and hate school.

@ruth_millington Fun question!! Definitely a Van Gogh, a Monet and an Audubon (Havell edition please-dreaming big here! Lol), but I'd also love a Vermeer and a Chihuly to hang from the high ceiling in the living room. 😁

@WallerArt I've done Original Works & it's been great! I've done both the magnet program & the express program & I recommend the express.Just make sure you do whatever program you choose early enough so that if a shipment's late, you aren't trying to get things to kids when school's out.

Kindergarten @JamiKupper class earned their choice time today and got to choose what they wanted to work with during class. Choices were: drawing with crayons/markers, modeling clay, shape games, matching games, or puzzles. They made quick work of the "big puzzle"!🎉#wlcardpride

5th grade students learned about Expressionism and Fauvism. They are creating pieces that either have a theme or show feeling/emotion using TAB centers. Some Ss are watching technique "How To" videos for centers that I've made and put in Google Classroom. #wlcardpride
