Christian apologist Wesley Huff appears on the Flagrant podcast with comedian Andrew Schulz:
"When you stand before the judgment throne you're either going to take the penalty you deserve, or you're going to be covered in the righteousness of Christ and that penalty is on him."
A gospel-centered business has a unique vision, avoids adversarial relationships and exploitation, prioritizes excellence and product quality, and fosters ethics throughout the org, even at a loss of margin. Profit is just one of many bottom lines
“Cursed is he who does the work of the Lord with slackness…” (Jeremiah 48:10)
God, please help us to seek You, obey You, and share You wholeheartedly, not halfheartedly, today.

The majority of the church's witness must take place in neighborhoods, workplaces and in public spaces. It is, therefore, the responsibility of the church to equip the people of God to participate in public life and to engage in His mission in these spaces. #MissionaryEncounter
This was really good from Scottie Scheffler in his press conference:
"All I can think about right now is getting home. I'm not thinking about the tournament. I'm not thinking about the green jacket. I'm trying to answer your questions and I'm trying to get home.
"I wish I could soak this in a little bit more. Maybe I will tonight when I get home. But at the end of the day, I think that's what the human heart does. You always want more, and I think you have to fight those things and focus on what's good.
"Because, like I said, winning this golf tournament does not change my identity. My identity is secure, and I cannot emphasize that enough."
🎯 "In the incarnation of Jesus, God revealed himself as the One who is WITH and FOR his creation.
Now, as the Risen Lord sends his Spirit to empower the church, we are called to become God’s people present in the world, WITH and FOR the world."
~ Darrell Guder
Over 4000 churches close in USA each and every year. And post pandemic that number is increasing. As many as 800 SBC churches cease to exist each year. We are in the midst of a major spiritual battle and I fear we spend energy fighting one another rather than our real enemy
@bradleybrisco I agree. And the scary part is that many churches celebrate “success”while going the wrong direction because they are measuring with the wrong markers…leading them to go harder in the wrong direction.
