A Syrian immigrant and his brother brutally raped Swedish woman Petra.

Petra is no longer with us. She ended her own life.

Before she died, Petra received only $330 in damages from the perpetrator because he had no more money.

Meanwhile, he was awarded over $92,000 by the Swedish state for spending "too long" in jail. This amount is three times what Petra was supposed to receive from him for brutally raping her ($30,000), and the Swedish Enforcement Agency is not allowed to seize this money to pay Petra.

After his release, he continued committing crimes and has still not been deported, despite being sentenced to deportation.
