U.S. Army pilot and member of the elite 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Night Stalkers).

October 3, 1993, during the Battle of Mogadishu in Somalia, Durant’s Black Hawk, Super Six Four, was struck by an RPG and crashed in the city.

As enemy fighters closed in, two Delta Force snipers, Master Sergeant Gary Gordon and Sergeant First Class Randy Shughart, repeatedly requested to be inserted at the crash site to defend the downed crew. Knowing the danger, they fought their way to Durant’s position, setting up a defensive perimeter and holding off enemy forces until they were fatally overrun. Their selfless stand saved Durant’s life.

Durant was captured and held prisoner for 11 days before his release. Gordon and Shughart were posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for their heroism.

In April of 2006, Navy Seal Michael Day was shot 28 times, but it didn't stop him.

He was shot everywhere on his body but his head, and continued to fight with his Sig 9MM pistol even after the pistol grips and his thumb was shot off.

With that handleless pistol he killed the three more remaining bad guys. He only walked to a Medevac helicopter when the job was done.

Athletes shouldn't be revered as heroes, men like this should be.

ALERT: A few things that you need to be aware of concerning the New York attack with incendiary devices.

Both 18 year olds are American born from Immigrant parents from Turkey and Afghanistan.

The drove to New York with the intent to injure or kill people from Pennsylvania.

The car that was found to have a device had New Jersey plates.

3 hand made devices were recovered.
Out of the 3 that were recovered, one was a decoy that didn't contain explosive material.

This is important.

They use decoys to emass people for the unknown device to explode and kill more people which is their goal.

The peaceful protest was against Muslims taking over our country.

Muslims who protested and shoved free Palestine down the throats of Americans don't like it when Americans have had enough and protest them so expect domestic terror attacks as probable in future.

Today, six more of America’s finest are coming home through Dover, just like my brothers from Benghazi did. The dignified transfer ceremony has yet to start, but soon these six will walk the same path, greeted by the soil they defended and the flag they gave everything for.

We honor Maj. Jeffrey R. O’Brien, Capt. Cody A. Khork, Chief Warrant Officer 3 Robert M. Marzan, Sgt. 1st Class Nicole M. Amor, Sgt. 1st Class Noah L. Tietjens, and Sgt. Declan J. Coady. We are thankful to all who came before them, standing on the frontlines in the long fight against terrorism.

I remember my brothers coming home, the weight of that moment, the silence, the pride, and the heartbreak all at once. Every time this happens again, as others return in flagged coffins in the years that followed, we are reminded that every life lost in this fight matters and that the cost of service is carried by countless families and warriors.

The Coast Guard mourns the passing, and honors the courage, of Aviation Survival Technician (AST) Tyler Jaggers. On February 27, he was critically injured during a medical evacuation mission offshore from Cape Flattery, Washington, and later succumbed to his injuries and passed away at Madigan Army Medical Center. 

Prior to his passing, he was meritoriously advanced to AST2 for his relentless drive in qualifications, the mentorship he consistently provided to swimmer candidates, and his exceptional performance across operational missions. Additionally, the Commandant of the Coast Guard awarded him the Distinguished Flying Cross – one of our Nation’s highest awards for heroism in aerial flight. 

Through his selfless service and sacrifice, AST2 Jaggers exemplified the finest legacies of Coast Guard service, and the sacred oath of the Aviation Rescue Swimmer community: "So Others May Live".
