@BlueApsaraBlog@NeverDeleteX@charlesmurray Surely nobody would say those rise to the level of nature.
Look, we agree that the math doesn't work. I'm just trying to get you to agree that that's not the only issue. Can you do that?
@MikeKimel@EchoesofWarYT@jonkessler20 How bad things were before FDR has no bearing on an argument that FDR's policies slowed the recovery. He didn't compare Britain's response to the market crash. He mentioned their recovery from being bombed. As an aside, not an assumption of equivalence or basis for his argument.
@MikeKimel@EchoesofWarYT@jonkessler20 He was making a case, not an assumption. If you disagree, make a counter argument, don't just say " you don't understand". That's unhelpful.
@BlueApsaraBlog@NeverDeleteX@charlesmurray Not a distraction. And you've missed the larger side of it, which is the problem of getting people NOT to do what they will do by human nature. E.g. oppress others for personal benefit when given power.
I agree with your 2nd post, but human nature is also very much an issue.
@TheBillieMarie@NickJFreitas@realDailyWire We can agree that her sin should not be glossed over. Nor his. They did this together.
But this isn't about their sin, it's about the sinful responses of others. Their sin doesn't excuse another's.
