Heading to Berlin to attend #codebeam 🇸🇪✈️🇩🇪 It’s a little bit of surprise for me to find myself being an Erlang programmer for almost four years already (and I got to like it more and more over time).
I recently found two very interesting Linux binaries uploaded to Virustotal.
I call this malware 'GTPDOOR'.
GTPDOOR is a 'magic/wakeup' packet backdoor that uses a novel C2 transport protocol: GTP (GPRS Tunnelling Protocol), silently listening on the GRX network (1/n) 🧵
I actually have introduced the similar idea to go-pfcp some time ago. Though no one is happy with this protocol itself, it's by any means necessary for some of us… 😇 I will try to make it easier (or with less pain) to handle it in Go.

Check out the easier way to handle IEs introduced in the latest version of go-gtp: https://t.co/k6OG5ZHLEj. It’s been almost five years since its first release, and it’s still actively maintained to make users happier. Thanks for your feedback and support 🤗
