day 4 of langfuse launch week: code evaluators.
write a python or typescript `evaluate` function in the langfuse UI. attach it to live observations or an experiment. scores land natively next to your existing ones.

In the last 3 weeks I had the opportunity to support our Haystack team with the 2.0 release as part of an internal engineering exchange.
It was super exciting to work on an Open Source framework again and to contribute a few building blocks to Haystack 2.0 🔥
If you have NLP pipelines running in production, you likely need to maintain them. If you need to detect the sources of problems, having a good way to see each step of execution, and even more, identifying the pipeline with issues (when you have more than one running) is quite important.
✨ Queue the tracing support we introduced in @Haystack_AI 2.0 ✨
Out of the box, Haystack supports @opentelemetry and @datadoghq
But we've also added a uniform Tracer interface that allows you to extend Haystack to support other platforms too 🙌
See how to connect your own tracers here 👉 https://t.co/DBLUUDMvVb
We've also included instructions on how you can set up a lightweight local tracing backend with a visualizer using @JaegerTracing in our guide too 🚀
🧵 Generative models have taken the world of NLP by storm. But LLMs do not know about your personal data. This makes personal assistants, enterprise knowledge management and many other applications challenging. Retrieval augmented pipelines are the answer 👇

With the newest version of Git 2.37.0, you can run just "git push" to push new branches. No more "--set-upstream origin". Enable with:
git config --global --add --bool push.autoSetupRemote true

I’ve backed a Kickstarter project last year which originally wanted to ship in October 2020, however, there is always some reason why they can’t. They now send me a newsletter every few months telling me that they are “nearly” there. And somehow that really brings me joy 😀
