@ryanmouquegolf Ryan, this is such great advice! I turned off the Arccos Golf AI because of “club up” advice. I could not commit to a shot with the wrong club in my hand.
@rossmacleodputt@billbunkered The most valuable thing I did get from Arccos was that I am a good putter. Who knew!? At the end of the day, after 3 seasons, the insight gained wasn’t worth the mental distraction on the course with the system that was starting to affect my game. Going simple this season
@rossmacleodputt@billbunkered I am not sure everyone goes to that detail to make the putting stats accurate so I’m not sure how good the SG number is. It’s a lot of messing around during and after the round for most amatuers
@MyGolfSpy@ArccosGolf There were more problems than just sensors. It took probably 20 minutes to correct everything after your round. It also has a mulligan function so it didn’t capture recovery shots and made penalty strokes awkward (stroke direction? + penalty). Putting was an adventure too. +$$$
@blaing99@VINTAGESASKO@RockStarsCurl@jjonescurl Or, on Olympic years, the winner of the Trials also represents Canada at the World Championships instead of Scotties and Brier winner. Finals in all the championships should be best of 3 as in the Trials.
@aaronaggarwal@JasonGregor I was on a train in Korea for the 2018 Olympics and sat next to a parent of one of the players - basically said the same thing!
@JohnSiteman@rockchannelcurl Homan won the Olympic trials as you know and to ensure the best team goes you have a best 2 out of 3 final. Perhaps on an Olympic year that’s your representative for all international events. Or you move the Scotties away from the Olympics. The goal is to have our best team
@Fit_For_Golf Agreed! For me, mobility issues in my hips caused the swing issue. The gym restored the movement and I tried movements in the gym to improve my swing. Unfortunately, it took golf lessons and lots of practice and play to finally resolve my swing.
