@SpaceX@cursor_ai arg. Very bad idea. Creating datacenters makes and rent them to google and Anthropic makes sence but not doing their own AI.
Let us hoppe that SpaceX will survive this
@shub0414 Anthropic is really good, but I think the wall is coming closer. This is also why they are going public. They will still grow but not enough that venture capital would invest in them.
@Eggplant_Elon The problem with bitcoin is:
* Not stabel enough to use it as money.
* No dividends that ensures that it grows long term if world economy grows.
To stabilize it, it needs to increase when the demand increases and vice versa.
@chrisgpt The main problem I see is, that you need to train your robot a lot. If you need to train it, then you can directly go for a industrial one, that is much faster than a humanoid one.
Maybe this changes at some moment.
@k_flowstate you need no platform team at all a rails app. Actually we do no have it and we are about 10 developers with a 15 years old monolith with a lot of traffic.
@CaptainInsightX Depends on what is your goal.
- DHH: web development.
- Linus Torvalds: drivers and kernel
- John Carmack: game development.
- Guillermo Rauch: learn how to do good marketing.
@LivingTricks_ When you do not see a solution challenge your assumptions: the only real danger animal here is the tiger, so the logical solution is to jump and hope that the tiger is to distracted with the wolf to follow you
@vivoplt because even if AI has the potential to replace developers, it is not the current situation. Currently is is more like a 10% speedup in my own experience.
@KhaledsRRR@dhh At the start, I would go for a managed database and storage. Use kamal for deploying on a rented server. Do not use any fancy things like k8s.
At some point, you will need some ops people anyway, then switch out of the cloud.
@vivoplt Firefox because it is what is everything tested against under linux. Under chrome you will have some minor problems to login into hotspots in hotels.
