I wrote an article about this a while back and ran a poll that came back with 75% of NC State fans approving on losing some parking to gain NIL funding.

Seeing a lot of chatter on here about the big gap for NC State's NIL being high-end donors.

Fine, but asking rich people to fund a kid's game over the long term just doesn't seem sustainable.

Can someone answer why NC State isn't working towards building mixed-use around Carter-Finley Stadium and leasing that to create never-ending funds?

Remember, in a few years, the entire area is going to be an 81-acre entertainment and sports district around the Lenovo Center. That's approved and underway.

Shouldn't NC State be ready to tap into all those people who will be there every day of the year?

I get that tailgating is part of our culture, but at what point do we concede that to be competitive in this new landscape, we'll need to make some sacrifices?

Maybe this is already the thought, but if it's not, it should be.
