Breaking: Michael Burry exposes Oracle's accounting trick they've been using to inflate revenue
Burry claims "Oracle manufactured an extra 19% of revenue" through these steps:
1. A customer prepays Oracle $10B today for cloud capacity to be delivered 3 to 5 years from now
2. Oracle books that as an $11.9B contract liability, accreting interest at 6% over the wait
3. When Oracle finally delivers the capacity, it recognizes the full $11.9B as cloud infrastructure revenue against the original $10B
4. The extra $1.9B becomes revenue for capacity that was never used and work that was never performed
This would be bad news for $ORCL investors if true
JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon learned a communication rule from Warren Buffett as a student. Today, it keeps his $4.4 trillion bank aligned:
"I say the same thing to you that I say to my board, I say to my shareholder, I say to my employee, I say to my customer. There is no difference."
“Perceive that which cannot be seen with the eye.”
- Miyamoto Musashi
Miyamoto Musashi, born around 1584 in Japan, was a legendary swordsman, philosopher, and writer who became one of the most influential figures in Japanese martial tradition. His teachings centered on strategy, discipline, adaptability, and self-mastery. Centuries later, his ideas continue to influence martial arts, leadership, and modern thinking about focus and personal development.
The meaning behind this idea is deeply philosophical. Musashi suggests that what we see on the surface rarely reveals the entire truth. Someone may appear calm while experiencing turmoil within, just as a situation that seems straightforward may contain complexities that are not immediately visible.
True understanding therefore requires more than simply looking. It means paying attention to what lies beneath appearances—the intentions, emotions, motives, and circumstances that shape what we observe. Words and actions can tell us something, but careful perception can reveal the deeper reasons behind them.
Musashi’s philosophy encourages a heightened form of awareness: instead of automatically accepting things as they appear, observe closely, question your first impressions, and recognize what might remain unseen. The eyes show us what is visible; perception helps us understand what may be hidden beneath the surface.
Signed jewels by Cartier continued to captivate at this week’s High Jewelry sale at #SothebysHongKong. The French maison’s 1925 statement necklace featuring jadeite, onyx, and diamonds was a favorite of visitors, and it didn’t disappoint at auction.

Quote of the Day:
“If anyone can prove and show to me that I think and act in error, I will gladly change it—for I seek the truth, by which no one has ever been harmed. The one who is harmed is the one who abides in deceit and ignorance.”

What's the 1 thing that NEVER changes in marketing?
Human psychology.
Dr. Robert Cialdini is a legendary psychologist who understood this.
He uncovered 7 scientifically proven elements of persuasion.
Here's how you can use these elements to create your irresistible offer: 👇
Michael Burry bet 8.4 billion dollars against the housing market in 2008, and his own investors tried to sue him before it made them a fortune. He is quietly making the same warning again. It is not a hunch. It is not luck. It is one habit almost nobody is willing to copy.
His edge was not a tip or a model. It was one thing almost no one else bothered to do. He read the fine print.
While everyone trusted the AAA rating, Burry opened the mortgage bonds and read the loans stuffed inside them, one by one. What the world called safe was garbage. So he bought insurance against it and waited.
A rating is not the truth. It is a label someone was paid to print. He never bought the label, only what he had checked himself.
For two years he looked insane and never blinked. That is the part nobody copies. It is lonely, slow, and it makes you look wrong for a long time.
Then it happened. The bonds collapsed, the insurance paid, and the man everyone mocked was the only one who had read the truth.
Most people do not lose because something was hidden from them. They lose because they trusted a label they never opened.
He never stopped. Under the name Cassandra he keeps pointing at this market and saying it rhymes with the last one, and again almost nobody wants to listen.
The clip is under a minute, free, from the man who saw 2008 while the whole system called him wrong. The uncomfortable part is that he is saying it again today.
In 2012, Brian Tracy literally gave a 1-hour sales masterclass worth more than an MBA.
His frameworks:
• The 90-minute truth
• Double face time = double income
• Collect NOs
• Be a doctor of selling

Meet Dr. Robert Cialdini.
For decades, he studied a single question:
What makes humans say "yes"?
His findings transformed marketing forever.
And one discovery was so powerful, it generates billions in sales every year.
