Philly Love Run Recap
First Half-Marathon ✅
Came in with a goal of sub 1:45 and realized by about mile 6 or so that sub 1:40 was in play — absolutely thrilled with this effort.
Felt fantastic until about Mile 10-11, and then emptied the tank to come in just under 1:40:00
Training, taper, carb load, and on course nutrition were on point and had me feeling excellent throughout
What a race! @LOVERUNPHILLY
- 👟Minted NY Sauconys @MarcusMilione
- on course fuel BPN GoGels
- BPN x Ciele Hat @NickBareFitness
- Oakley Shades
BREAKING: SpaceX's IPO is expected to create 4,000 new millionaires, including some cafeteria workers whose compensation packages include employee stock options, per Bloomberg.
NCAA is now the only sports organization on earth that can’t ban a player for betting on his own team.
8.7 billion people on one side … one Texas judge on the other.
Brendan Sorsby won a temporary injunction. The NCAA may have a permanent problem.

As disastrous a ruling as there has ever been in modern sports. The pathway is now clear: gamble as much as you like, including on your own team and hope you are--or get--good enough that you can lawyer up down the line. A much bigger disaster than anything with NIL or portal.
MEET AMERICA'S TOP SOCCER DAD 🇺🇸⚽️
Rusty Aaronson built a makeshift soccer pitch in his unfinished basement and turned all three of his kids into soccer stars in Europe, on the USMNT, and for Villanova 🌟
Part three of DIY FC, presented by @homedepot takes us to the Aaronson's New Jersey basement where Rusty developed training philosophies that changed youth soccer in America.
When SpaceX IPOs and employee stock becomes liquid:
- the first ~4,000 employees will become millionaires
- the first ~400 employees will earn $100m
- the first ~100-200 will earn $100-$1b
- a dozen or more of the earliest employees will earn more than $1b
And every single employee with stock will earn tens of thousands of dollars
Incredible 🚀
SpaceX millionaires 4,000 x $1mil , 400 x $100 mil
Every employee who joined before the first succesful launch made (unless they sold early) more than $100 million.
SpaceX lists June 12 at ~$1.75T.
Work backward from the cap table. At $1.75T, clearing $100M takes ~0.0057% of the company.
- 2002–2008, first ~500 in: joined at a ~$50M company. Held to $1.75T = a 17,000x. The core of the club — maybe 150–250 left holding
- September 2008, SpaceX has first successful launch
- 2010–2016: joined at $1B–$10B. Needs a senior grant — directors, principal engineers, early Starlink. ~100–200
- C-suite + board: Shotwell, Johnsen past $1B. A layer of SVPs below them clears $100M on equity, not salary. ~20–40
- Post-2016: joined at $20B–$350B. To hit $100M you'd have needed ~0.4% of the company. Impossible for an employee. This is the millionaire tier — almost none reach $100M
The tally:
~400–500 at $100M+
A few dozen above $500M
A handful of billionaires past Musk
Same building. Same mission. Two orders of magnitude apart — set entirely by what year you walked in.
Early isn't a strategy. It's a date stamp.
Jared McCain who the Sixers could not foresee finding minutes for just started Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals and scored 20 points in a 13 point win including a backbreaking 4th quarter three.
In a study of people with generalized anxiety disorder, only 8.6% of recorded worries actually happened.
The most common outcome: 0%. Not a single worry came true.
Socialist gets elected mayor of Seattle. She says “I think the claims that millionaires are going to leave our state are super overblown. And the ones that leave? Like, bye.”
The crowd laughs and cheers.
Now, local leaders are worried that they're actually leaving.
Starbucks is opening a corporate hub in Nashville, which actually wants business. The mayor says she wants the company to stay.
How many times do we have to experience this? How is there never any learning?
Socialism isn't just bad economics. It's spiritually rotten to be this hostile to truth and this hateful toward those who contribute most to society.
🚨 Michael Carrick will stay at Manchester United as permanent manager, confirmed.
Direction clear for weeks, plan also approved by Sir Jim Ratfliffe and new deal set to be signed soon.
New deal for 2 years plus option to extend or directly 3 years, but no doubts: Carrick says yes and will sign the contract.
