Again, nothing wrong with reusing ideas, as long as it's fun, interesting and you put a twist on it. The characters are hollow, there is nothing to care about.

Asta is discount Naruto (but more annoying). Yuno is discount Sasuke (but a bit nicer). The magic knights are the discount Gotei 13, Yami is the discount Kenpachi.

It is true that imitation is the greatest form of flattery for an author... but you're supposed to be a unique twist on it rather than just copy/paste. They might as well called it Bleanarupeace. It's just copying almost everything, down to the characters.

Instead they took every single Shounen Troupe, but it into a blender and hit the Puree switch. Copy/pasted characters, Copy/pasted concepts, Copy/pasted everything.

Black Clover does suffer from more than just bad pacing though, it's the most generic 5/10 Shounen I've seen since Fairy Tale. They took all of the principals of writing and chucked them out the window.

One Piece should have 333 episodes by Chapter 1000. 3 manga chapters per episode. Imagine how good it would be.
