@John_A_Nguyen@JFreshHockey@DucksFanZone I can't imagine anyone, outside maybe Celebrini, signs a $20 million deal before this one is finished.
We can never go back, and see what would've happened if COVID never happened, but it took like 7 years before any contracts eclipsed the Matthews, Marner and Nylander dea.
@LeafsPR I've never been less enthused to be a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, and I lived through many of the Harold Ballard years. The talent level in this lineup has been decimated by two seasons with Brad Treliving.
If the core three don't score, they'll average 1.2 goals per game.
@kylecorwintakes Baseball is the one sport where there is really only one intensity to play at. You pitch, swing, run and catch. Outside pitching, players can do that 365 days a year with no significant increase to injury. It's a far less intense sport than the other three.
@James_H630@lukefoxjukebox What a weird way to describe things. Being positionally sound is the most important thing in goaltending. It means you need to rely less on reaction time, and don't put yourself out of position as often. Woll excels at being fundamentally sound.
@JFreshHockey@Shadowbladez337 like, less than 0.1 chances per 60? Hr has an assist and a shot on net in 20:36 of total ice time. Perhaps those were both on the PP, though?
@JohnBeilein Midway through this game, I felt myself reminiscing on John Beilein basketball and how amazing your run as Michigan's coach truly was. It makes me so happy that you can still enjoy Michigan basketball. I hope that one day we can look back at Dusty May's tenure in similar light.
@eccentric_flo My new phone has been sitting in their sorting facility 5km for my house for 4 days. It failed to be delivered on Friday due to a "missed connection". Today, it was out for delivery for 12 hours before being cancelled due to "weather delay". The weather is perfectly fine.
@unusual_whales These numbers are from Mars. The median annual salary in Ontario is $60,347, not $36,749. A minimum wage worker in Ontario earns $33,100 working full time at $16.55 / hour.
@JordanAckerMI@mgoblog Thank you so much for your appearance on mgoblog radio today. The topic of evolving college athletic financials is not an easy one, and I truly appreciate you taking the time to represent the University with a reasonable and level headed take on things.
@jtgensler@JeffVeillette NHL and College Football are literally the two sports I follow religiously. I've been waiting a decade for these two games to be made for the PC. Just spent over $2K on a new PC, and have no desire to buy a console.
@Mr_Honkitude Man, this thread is full of misogynists, and people who haven't spent much time in unfamiliar woods. Walking in a straight line is not as easy as it sounds. When your clearin brush in front of you, humans tned to slowly arc towards dominant hand, and end up circling.
@UMvsEveryone Not 100% happy with this, but I wanted to prioritize JJ and either the 21 or 22 O Line.
$5 McCarthy
$3 2021 O Line
$5 Blake Corum
$3 Cornelius Johnson
$1 Eddie McDoom
$1 Ian Bunting
@GoBlueJoe_19 @JDue51 Telling of what? More reps for him were not a bad thing. He did well with the first team, with 33 yards on 8 carries (4.1 yards per carry). Not amazing, but against a good rush defence. His last drive netted him only 15 yards on 6 carries, which brought his ypc down.
@BSDtweet Coach Moore said Barner ran his route too deep. He should've stopped at 2 yard line and turned.
JJ wasn't expecting defender to be there, and he was likely hidden behind Barner, so didnt catch him in peripheral vision.
After that, McCarthy was definitely playing hero ball.
@JesseBlake Played more of this one than any other. Still can't believe it was Bethesda that made the game all those years ago (1989)
Can EA please release a new version of NHL for the PC (mia since 2009)
@ZKS011717 @devingardnerXCI@SamWebb77@michiganinsider It was a 3rd and 11. He had to be 100% certain to make the catch to move the chains. If it was first or second down, he likely tries to catch it in stride and pick up extra yards.
