There is now enough documents, historical, and archaeological information to scientifically prove that, just like flat Earth theory, the Book of Mormon is false. And like flat Earth theory, some church members will cling to the fiction no matter what as it defines who they are.
@ScripturePlus These are the sorts of things someone says when they don't understand the history of the Book of Abraham. Which makes sense because the church discourages people from researching such things, or anything that's outside official approved church text.
@NoblestCalling If you ever want to see a Mormon act in non-Mormon ways, just post something about Mormonism on Twitter they don't like. It's curious how following the tenants of their so-called one and only true faith only extends so far.
@ThoughtfulSaint Samual Rowbotham, one of the modern proponents of the flat Earth idea, was a very skilled debater and through his skill was able to bring many people to the belief of a flat Earth, despite it being wrong.
Your family has equally been lead astray.
@metteharrison I've had people basically tell me the same thing. A church in general should be held to a higher standard than a regular business, as they preach morals and ethics. Add to that a church that claims it speaks for God, and there are no excuses for its behavior.
@OliverCowd And the DNA evidence is just the tiniest tip of the iceberg of evidence against the historical accuracy of the Book of Mormon and all its anachronisms, showing that it's not actually a historical text but instead is a fabrication.
@FabioBYU Mormon leaders speak of God, but are not men of God. The church classifies them as "the Lord's anointed". They are not, and despite what they may think of themselves, they are not God's mouthpieces on Earth. They're just men. Mostly businessmen.
@ThoughtfulSaint So the elderly lady needed a car and the ward had to find a way to come together and make it work, all while the church was sitting on billions of dollars, hiding it from the members and the government, making wards and members scrape to get by instead of helping them.
If the LDS Mormon church had even an ounce of decency, a shred of morals and ethics, they would remove Bonnie Cordon from her position. However, as we've already seen from the SEC situation and the Mormon church lying to its members and the government, the church has no morals.
In the interview about the murder of her grandchild, Bonnie Cordon of Mormon leadership didn't just try to play dumb, she tried to play just about every angle there was. @Ch_JesusChrist

@ldsconf Bonnie Cordon, The woman that tried to cover up the murder of her grandchild and has even tried to use the event as a faith promoting experience. She's about as genuine as the plastic surgery she's had done.
This is just a reminder that Bonnie Cordon, the Young Women General President in the Mormon church, knew that her daughter murdered her grandchild, lied about it, and has even tried to use the incident as a "faith building" experience multiple times. @Ch_JesusChrist
@ThoughtfulSaint I think it's more a matter of not wanting to contribute to your media projects, or to you making money.
By the way, calling people "cowards" and "losers", I see you must've learned your vocabulary from President Nelson. The things they teach at Mormon church these days.
@DehlinJohn It just shows you can have bad actors on both sides of an issue. The church is wrong, dishonest, and violates its own stated ethics by trying to hide its money both from the members and the government. In turn, Dehlin profits off the whole thing too. It's just like politics.
@FabioBYU I used to just assume it was true because, like the Mormon church teaches its members, I never looked at any information from outside of the church, including historical information.
@bTheResistance@BrotherRicky@ImSpeaking13 Kimberly Guilfyole isn't just a MAGA supporter, she's an overpaid escort with political aspirations clinging to the wallet of a coke head that's done her best to climb the corporate flesh ladder, one casting couch at a time.
@ldsconf Keep in mind the Utah Area President already admitted the real reason behind missionary work in the Mormon church isn't so much to convert new people to the church as it is to more fully convert the missionary themselves, so they will keep paying tithing. Gotta get that 10%.
@RepMTG It speaks about integrity, and then speaks about the insurrection as if it was no big deal and just a small scale event, even though it's all on video. Is Marjorie Taylor Greene oblivious stupid, or just plain ole stupid stupid?
