I’d prefer to see schools prioritising health and rest over dragging your kids to school when they’re ill or need a mental health day. Then we might not have the same toxicity in the workplace when it comes to taking time off for your well-being.

Is it just me, or are attendance prizes in primary school the actual worst? The kids don’t decide whether they go school or not at that age, parents make that decision. So young children have to watch their peers winning prizes & they don’t, when they have no control over it.
