@aidilarazak If not, then it was just a poor investment call. Nothing criminal, just a poor business judgment. Someone should be fired/demoted/bonus deducted, maybe. But not go to jail
@aidilarazak Re: 1MDB, the case was that selected people in 1MDB were in collusion with Jho Low & friends that enabled the swindling of our money.
The question then is whether KWAP had anyone in collusion with this and if yes, did anyone from KWAP benefit from it too.
(Refer to next post)
@aidilarazak To be fair, the one who committed the crime are the people at eFishery. Not KWAP.
By this logic, then those who approved at Temasek, softbank etc all should also go to jail too.
Investments come with risk, it’s the name of the game.

I compared the "spread" of the most famous platforms to invest in gold last month.
1. Public Gold: Highest spread. Buying gold from them costs about 8-10% more than the market price.
2. TNG eMas: The LOWEST spread (meaning its price is the most accurate), but NOT SHARIAH.
3. MIGA-i: Spread is OK but not the best.
4. Bursa Gold Dinar: OK spread but many different fees.

TNG Digital has reached a new milestone where bulk of TNG eWallet revenue comes from non-payment services. eWallet Payments contribute less than 50% while toll payments are only single digit. 51% of total revenue now comes from non-payments which include travel, insurance, investments and more. Positioning itself as a digital companion, they have refreshed the TNG eWallet app to minimise friction and to simplify the experience.
At the moment, they have over 26 million verified users and over 50% of them use the app every month. Active users on average use the app 2x per day.

Meta is going to fire 8,000 employees tomorrow at 4AM.
> They have asked all their employees to WFH tomorrow.
> 8,000 unlucky employees will receive the Good Bye email at 4AM in the morning.
> Workers laid off in the US will get 16 weeks of base pay as severance, plus 2 extra weeks for every year spent at Meta.
> Apart from them, 7,000 more employees who keep their jobs will be shifted into 4 new AI-focused organisations.
> After this, Meta have a plan to fire more employees in August and another round towards the end of 2026.
All total Meta may reduce its head count by 10,000 to 15,000 in this year only.
What do you think? Where is Meta doing wrong?
RTM will end the broadcast of its channels on Astro's satellite and OTT platforms from July 1, marking the end of a nearly 30-year collaboration.
The move follows the failure of both parties to reach a pricing agreement that met their financial requirements, despite prolonged negotiations over rental rates and service fees, RTM said.

Tech issues happened and no company is perfect. But everything from how the customer service attended to me to the speed of their investigation and resolution process has reminded me why they are my main banking account
Banking is all about confidence and trust.
The other day I withdrew money from the ATM and somehow the bank deducted RM1.5k more than i actually withdrew.
I called @MyMaybank customer service and within 24 hours the money was refunded to my acc.
Kudos MBB!
