We all woke up to heartbreaking news in the University District. Our community lost a dedicated bus driver who was tragically stabbed in the U-District. I am sure this devastating act of violence has shaken us all of us, especially as we approach the holidays.
The fight is ongoing and there is always a lot of work to do. We need to stand together united to protect our communities. I promise to always fight! So let’s get to work!
As we move into uncertain times, I know many of us in the Asian American Community are feeling anxious after experiencing Trump’s Covid racism and the media surgence of anti-asian hate incidences during the beginning of the Biden administration.
