Today was a great day at Legacy High School. Meeting with parents and students to stay on track for graduation is a powerful moment of teamwork! #learnbps
Yessss, summer heat. Have to climb on top of my laundry game hardcore so clothes don’t go stinky in the washer before I remember to hit them up in the dryer. Could I put inventing a washer that won’t go musty in the heat onto someone’s to do list?

Thank you everyone for joining my Twitter Tues takeover! I appreciate all of your inspiring thoughts and willingness to share. Here we come, Wednesday! Watch out for excited teachers :0) #learnbps
Q5: I really had to think about this to come up with a student. It took me back to Mad About You when Reiser & Hunt decided to tell people how much they cared about them rather than wait. I want to advocate for students more IN FRONT of them in hopes they feel valued #learnbps
A1: I LOVE seeing students' eyes sparkle with eager anticipation. I also smile when they groan about coming back, but you can tell it's a obligatory front. #learnbps
@InnovatorPat And that really defines “what seriously could be the worst that happens?” Oh, it didnt work and so you tried again? Doesnt seem so scary at all
A4: I always aim to be open and direct about my thoughts with my students. No student has ever been rude after I said that my feelings were hurt over a tough situation in class. After I took the leap to vulnerably share my feelings, we just talked like regular humans #learnbps
A3: To model vulnerabilty we need to have an open & continuous conversation with students. We need to be able to verbalize our emotions. “I was really anxious about trying this new thing, but I did it anyways to see what would happen...” #learnbps
A2: Teachers are no different than students. We don’t want to be hurt or judged. We all need to have trust in another for vulnerability to happen. #learnbps
