Hard pass on that "settlement."
Just like Craig Wright forges documents and doesn't quite tell the truth, his description of the settlement offer isn't quite accurate either - it comes with loopholes that would allow him to sue people all over again.
The Wright patent dispute tells us how legal battles can hinder progress. Perhaps this is exactly why Craig Wright made his offer. Let’s stop fighting and start building, eh? #COPA https://t.co/XQ8ayWy7sQ
I’ve had a dozen small blockers ask me if I intend to apologize for being a BSV supporter “when Craig loses.”
No.
Craig isn’t wrong about bitcoin which is the only thing I care about.
Should atheists apologize to anyone if Jesus rides out of heaven with a host of angels?
Who would they apologize too? What are they apologizing for?
Small blocker culture is an absolute malignancy.
Here is a more careful explanation of the concept of "negative proof" and why it is logically possible in COPA V. Wright, but is factually non-existent for COPA.
COPA resorts to "finding a negative about claimant" instead of "presenting a logical negative proof of the claim" because it has no choice. It is blocked by a wall of reality.
In contrast, negative proof of a negative claim maybe available for Dr Wright.
We will find it out in the trial starting February 5, 2024.

They must also stop claiming that they represent the original Bitcoin as envisioned by #Satoshi Nakamoto, and “publicly acknowledge that the intended purpose for creating #Bitcoin was to create a system to provide micropayments, to allow for the chronologically ordered validation of transactions and to facilitate #scalability.”
Today I have sent to my opponents in the COPA litigation, the passing-off claims and database-rights claims, a non-negotiable offer to settle each of these cases, which is reproduced in its entirety at this link.
