@1True_American_ Yes, repentance is exactly that. Most people confuse it with confession of sin - which is included, but changing is the important part.
@DoulosOfJesus@BreakingSpells@headless_giant Amen! We have seen this over many years; God is our faithful Provider. I have also seen that those that have cannot give like those who don't have. We are givers because our Father is a giver. He gave us His Son...
Like Jesus and Peter on the water — faith doesn’t walk on the ground of what is possible.
It ventures onto the waves because the One who calls us is faithful.

Faith doesn’t stay where it’s safe and solid.
It walks where only God can hold it up.
“The just shall live by faith” means we’re called to trust Him with the impossible situations and tough challenges we face.
@WesleyLHuff I pastored a church in that town years ago. William Tyndale's monument was a stone's throw from our house, still the only Protestant monument in Belgium. Tyndale was martyred on my birthday centuries earlier.
Faith doesn’t walk on the solid ground of what is possible. Like Jesus and Peter, it steps out onto the water — the impossible.
Are you willing to live this way?
“The just shall live by faith.”
This is the lifestyle we are called to as believers — and it is a tough call. Because faith works with the impossible, with the difficult issues and tough challenges.

The mango tree in our backyard produced a crop that is hard to handle. Huge mangoes keep on coming and we don't know what to do with them. We gave tons away, dried mango slices, made mango chutney, and they keep on coming. Two limbs were torn from the tree because of the weight of the growing mangoes. Blessing upon blessing!
